To help overcome that VATSIM created the First Wings events, dedicated to helping pilots get used to the phraseology, the procedures, and what is expected of them. In this edition of First Wings, experience the charm of Adelaide (YPAD), offering pilots a unique blend of breathtaking coastal approaches and stunning city views, and Canberra (YSCB) where political landmarks meet picturesque landscapes and some high terrain. During this unique opportunity, pilots will be able to fly between two of the most popular airports on VATSIM and enjoy full ATC coverage from gate to gate. Pilots depart **Amsterdam Airport Schiphol** (EHAM) between **09:00** and **12:00 UTC** so that they will be arriving into **Hamad International Airport** (OTHH) between **15:00** and **18:00 UTC**. Virtual Pilots for The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is the biggest, non-governmental, non-profit, charity organization in Poland raising money for pediatric and elderly care. The GOCC Foundation holds American Heart Association certification to provide courses in CPR and AED, and for the use of high technology for medical lifesaving. The GOCC aims to support health care in Poland by purchase of state of the art medical equipment for Polish hospitals and clinics and by establishing and running six medical programmes and one educational programme. The foundation supports pediatric and geriatric wards, furnishing them in both complex medical devices such as MRI scanners, and providing long-term care units with anti-bedsore mattresses and beds. This year as controllers, we want to take a part in the final action by supporting charity stream "Pilots for GOCC".

(plan 1 - 3 hr flights) Moderate Experiences: Flights between our minors and our majors (i.e. CYMM and CYYC or CYEG and CYZF) step up the challenge and introduce more complicated ground ops and Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) procedures. (plan 1.5 - 2.5 hrs one way) Advanced Experience: Edmonton FIR uniquely offers you two majors and the ultimate challenge. Flight between CYYC and CYEG and tackle your ground ops, a SID, STAR and approach all within 45 mins flight time... 45 mins assumes a headwind (:p) Our event is staffed by volunteers and coverage may vary between weeks.

Zurich Night
Welcome to the Zurich Night, the weekly online-day of Switzerland's major airport! **Every Tuesday from 19:00z to 21:00z**, expect full staffing, professional and friendly ATC service and plenty of traffic. Enjoy one of total 4 IFR approaches or get yourself a spot as a small VFR aircraft between the big birds. VFR flights are still performed regularly despite the airport's size. This makes flying VFR to/from Zurich extremely interesting, but it's also a huge challenge which requires careful preparation. A lot of small airfields in the vicinity offer numerous possibilities for short VFR hops. Zurich is a unique airport with a lot of operational restrictions due to noise abatement and its challenging layout. We know it by heart and love this airport with all its rough edges. VATSIM First Wings

Bremen FIR Evening
Only individual airports in the Bremen FIR are open? Why not all of them? We will open EDDB, EDDH, EDDW, EDDV as well as other minors like EDAH, EDXW, EDVK and ETNL for you. VATSIM Germany invites you on Tuesdays every two weeks between 1830z and 2100z to its Onlineday. From a new capital airport to one of the oldest airports in Germany with exciting runway crossings and many unique minors, the FIR EDWW has a lot to offer. Come by, we are looking forward to seeing you!
Boston and Syracuse
In the Regional Circuit, we staff up multiple of our airports to provide pilots with an opportunity to receive 'gate-to-gate' ATC service for the duration of the event. Pilots are encouraged to fly between the airports and make the return flight if time allows; however, traffic from other airports is welcome as well. The Regional Circuit always creates an immersive atmosphere with busy frequencies and congested airways between the host airports. This Regional Circuit features **Boston** (**KBOS**) and **Syracuse** (**KSYR**) airports. **February 25, 2025 1900-2200 ET {25 Feb 2025 2359-0300z}** It’s also a great time to try out one of our WINGS flights. Remember, many of the flights have published Alternate Airports, allowing you to earn your BVA pilot ratings at event airports!
