During this event, our ROvACC team will control LIVE from a control room located near the capital of our beautiful country, Bucharest! We will surely provide live stream for this one, our setup is ready and you will be able to see our team in action live from the control room, working together and socialising in this real life meeting. VATSIM and aviation is what unites our community and we want to make sure to spread that unity to you guys too. Together with our friends and partners from Bulgaria (BGvACC), we will offer control during the day trough most of the major airports in both of our countries, Romania and Bulgaria, airports such as LROP (Bucharest Otopeni), LBSF (Sofia International Airport), LRCK (Constanta), LBWN (Varna) or LRCL (Cluj Napoca). The Bulgarian team will be controling from distance, from Bulgaria but rest assured, their presence will be felt with us, as we will work together with them to provide a pleasent experience for everyone, and who knows, maybe next time both of the vACCs will manage to meet in real life! File your flight to SJC, OAK or even SFO if you wish, but be warned you may get vectored off to another airport at the controllers' bliss. We encourage you to fly your 73 and 74 alike, as PAO, which has a 2500 foot runway, might bring a haunted end to your night, or perhaps HWD might be more your flavor? Enjoy this fun evening that is sure to fright, hopefully your plane survives this holloween fright. Why are we calling it Trick or Bay (Tracon)? Back in 1967, Bay Tracon (O90) was created and served as the approach control facility for the Bay Area airports, this included the consolidation of 3 facilities, they were San Francisco, Oakland and NAS Moffett approach controls. The original Bay TRACON opened with eight RADAR positions providing air traffic service to the entire Bay Area. Included were services to San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, NAS Alameda, NAS Moffett, Crissy AAF, Hayward, Palo Alto, Reid Hillview, San Carlos, Half Moon Bay, Livermore, South County, Fremont and Skysailing airports. For this event, ZOA is recognizing this amazing part of history by simulating these very sectors that started the foundation of what this complicated airspace has now become to be. The week has just started for most of us so it's a good time to not over-do it and refresh ourselves right away with a nice evening online as our crew at Nuremberg, EDDN is waiting for you like every week. it's always a great mixture of mainly holiday-bound mid-range airliners, VFR traffic buzzing through the CTR, a bunch of cargo traffic and business as well as medical flights in smaller jets and props. Not to forget the regular military transports in larger airliners for the close-by Grafenwoehr training area. Pick up your charts, find an IFR route that suits you or just jump into your favorite flying lawnmower and explore the beautiful Franconian countryside with its tons of small airfields to choose from.

Zurich Night

Welcome to the Zurich Night, the weekly online-day of Switzerland's major airport! **Every Tuesday from 19:00z to 21:00z**, expect full staffing, professional and friendly ATC service and plenty of traffic. Enjoy one of total 4 IFR approaches or get yourself a spot as a small VFR aircraft between the big birds. VFR flights are still performed regularly despite the airport's size. This makes flying VFR to/from Zurich extremely interesting, but it's also a huge challenge which requires careful preparation. A lot of small airfields in the vicinity offer numerous possibilities for short VFR hops. Zurich is a unique airport with a lot of operational restrictions due to noise abatement and its challenging layout. We know it by heart and love this airport with all its rough edges. Zurich Night

Welcome to the Zurich Night, the weekly online-day of Switzerland's major airport! **Every Tuesday from 19:00z to 21:00z**, expect full staffing, professional and friendly ATC service and plenty of traffic. Enjoy one of total 4 IFR approaches or get yourself a spot as a small VFR aircraft between the big birds. VFR flights are still performed regularly despite the airport's size. This makes flying VFR to/from Zurich extremely interesting, but it's also a huge challenge which requires careful preparation. A lot of small airfields in the vicinity offer numerous possibilities for short VFR hops. Zurich is a unique airport with a lot of operational restrictions due to noise abatement and its challenging layout. We know it by heart and love this airport with all its rough edges.
